This apron did make it home!

Unfortunately, the original apron I was suppose to receive lost its way to my home...but I did receive a replacement from my partner.

Thanks Valerie for my apron and the goodies that came with it! Glad this one didn't get lost.

I know THIS package made it so I'm going to go ahead and post.

I had made the first apron using polka dots and on the off chance it is ever found, thought I'd go with stripes for this one. I used a really cute tea towel I had been saving. I cut it up and added darts so it would fit better.
The colors are actually a lot brighter in person, I took this picture at night.


the pocket has some appliqued limes on it...and spilled salt. I tried hand beading at first but couldn't get the same look for the spilled salt so used some washable fabric glue for it...hope it works!



here are the other goodies....a couple crocheted hot pads, drink mix, coasters with margaritas on them (thanks to Chili's restaurant) some rimming salt, napkins, glasses and a cute recipe holder with several good recipes in it. The giant oven mitt doesn't match the theme but since she loves polka dots I had to add it :-)

So what happens when the apron package you sent on the 29th of July is STILL being tracked a month later?

You make a NEW package....one that isn't like the other one because the postman says it isn't lost (riiiiiiiight)...but still.....you don't want two of the exact same thing once it does get there.

And if you make a new package...you MUST make a new teaser....
